Can't write apf/jpg files to project folder

Hi,

while running a sim I get the following error:

Couldn't write to Sim\\frame.100.apf
Can't write to Pic\base.0100.jpg
Sim process complete.

I'm on Windows 11, my project folder is on my desktop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I figured it out. You have to turn apf file generation off, and then the jpg generation will work.

We've traced the problem to internal error handling inside the windows jpeg library. Hopefully we can fix this soon. In the meantime we recommend writing out tif images. They are lossless anyway so they are a better format for most uses.

Massive 101 9.3.3 is now in the download page. This fixes the broken windows jpeg library.
