First download Massive 101, the manual, demo files and tutorials from the download page. This link goes to the download page via the end user license agreement page:

Installation
Unzip or untar the installation files. For windows, run the installer. For linux, place the bin directory into /usr/local/massive/
The manual can be unzipped and placed wherever convenient.
Apart from license activation, that's all that needs to be done to be able to run Massive 101. There are some optional environment variables that can be set, and details about these can be found in the installation page of the manual.
Activation
The first time that Massive 101 is run it will pop up the license activation window. This requires the username and password used to log into this forum to be entered. If the activation is successful then the license file will be placed into the .massive directory in the home directory, and Massive 101 will start. Subsequently, Massive 101 will start immediately, as long as the license is still valid. Only one active license is allowed per account, and there is a six month delay until a new license can be issued.
Demos
We recommend trying out the demo files. There is a webpage in the demo/docs/ folder that provides information about each demo.
Tutorials
The tutorials cover every aspect of using Massive. Most of the tutorials include videos. They are designed to make it easy to learn how to use Massive. The rest is up to your imagination.
Support
Since Massive 101 is free and only for non-commercial use, there is no support provided by Massive. So that's why we created this forum. Massive 101 artists can share tips, ideas, adventures and help each other with problems with Massive 101 here. And we will be keeping an eye on the forum, so there might be some input from us here too.
