Massive 101 fails to start

installed fine

run Massive 101 and get login dialog
using my username: goldfarb and the password I used to join the forum
login failed

if I use my email address instead of username the application crashes with the attached callstack.

I'm going to try the linux version tomorrow and I'll post what happens here.

on Linux I had to install libjpeg62

sudo apt install libjpeg62

I get the login dialog > Unable to connect to server.

That means it's a general software problem.

It has the same bug on all platforms.

Hi guys, sorry for the slow reply, I just discovered that this account was not getting any email notifications.

We have seen some problems with Massive 101 not starting on windows which appeared to be due to windows not having a supported version of OpenGL installed. I thought this was fixed, but I'll check again. We have never been able to reproduce the problem in Linux.

Tomorrow I'll check the logs and see if I can find out what's going on.

Ok we've made some improvements to the activation code and uploaded the new builds. So please download Massive 101 again, install it, and try it. And please reply here to let us know if it's working for you now

I downloaded it again, but it still doesn't work, although at least it now shows a message saying that it cannot connect to the server.
